We love kids in our office at Haslet Dentist!! Kids live in an entirely different world when it comes to dentistry. They have many needs that include: orthodontics, dental sealants, fluoride applications, fillings, and stainless steel crowns. They need to be educated on the effects of thumb sucking and taught the proper ways of brushing and flossing their teeth. They also have baby teeth mixed with permanent teeth, wiggly teeth, and teeth that are ready to fall out. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on prevention through patient and parent education and compliance. We want you to feel that you and your child are coming to see us not just to fix cavities, but to prevent them from ever occurring. We believe that prevention is the Best Treatment!
Haslet Dentist is very family oriented. We love our own families and know just how important little ones can be in our lives. That’s why we understand your concern for them in every aspect of their lives. For this reason, you’re more than welcome to accompany your child at all times during their visit with us. We even have comfortable chairs in each operatory, just in front of the dental chair, so you can be with them every step of the way.
While some children do better without the parent present, others feel more comfortable within the dental environment when they are around. We want you to be an integral part of your child’s dental experience and know what it is their mouth is going through, and the treatment they may need.
With very young children, our goal is to begin building a positive relationship that will last their whole lives. We’ve heard so many horror stories of adults who have had bad experiences at a dentist’s office when they were little, and how it effected them to this day… we don’t want to be “one of those” dentists. The dentists at Haslet Dentist, are extremely friendly and inviting. Many of us have children of our own, which allows us to better relate to them and help them have a great experience during their dental visit.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your children’s treatment or experience at our dental office, please let us know. We’re happy to explain something in more detail or give a better clarification of a treatment your child may need.
We look forward to seeing you and your little ones here at Haslet Dentist and hope we can continue putting smiles on your children’s faces everyday.
